This place suits me perfectly with free wi-fi, a cozy bar, and a lovely restaurant. The staff were incredibly kind to my elderly parents on my first visit, which I truly appreciated. Highly recommended for a great stay!

Cozy atmosphere made it ideal to relax.
We arrived to find our room locked and closed. Despite calling and knocking, nobody showed up for an hour. We were forced to sleep in our car, which is unacceptable and ruined our night.

charming estuary views and easy access to local attractions
I had a lovely stay, enjoying a spacious room with a spectacular view across the estuary and being just a few steps away from art galleries and delicious dining options like the Coast Deli & Dining, which made city strolls delightful.

We had a fantastic time with our kids here! The beach access was perfect for sandcastle building, and we loved relaxing on the sun terrace with some cold drinks. The only hiccup was hearing some noise from below on our last night, but it didn’t spoil our fun at all. 😊

great views but noisy floors
The views from my twin room were truly remarkable, with plenty of natural light flooding in. The wifi connectivity exceeded my expectations, allowing me to stay connected during my visit.
The room floors creaked quite a bit, which affected the overall comfort.

From the moment we stepped through the door, the warm welcome was ace! The staff, especially Dave, were top-notch, nailing our cheeky breakfast requests like pros. Our sea view twin room was spacious and comfy. The food in the restaurant was a real treat – can't beat that fish and chips!
The shower pressure was a bit weak, and the bathroom could have done with a proper scrub.

The room was spacious with a lovely sea view, and the bed was super comfy. There were some cleanliness issues, though, like a dirty drawer, which was a bit off-putting. The bathroom had a weird toilet seat that didn't fit right, and the shower needed better water pressure. it had potential but showed signs of wear and tear.

Charming pub vibe with tasty bites
We had a cozy stay in a twin room with views of the estuary. The classic pub menu was a highlight—tried the fish and chips, and they were delish! The staff was super friendly, really made it feel welcoming. Just wish the room was a bit cleaner and the wifi was spotty at times.

the staff were super friendly and welcoming, made us feel right at home. the food was really nice and came out quick. The prices were good too. our room was spacious with a nice sea view, perfect for relaxin. the location is great, just a short walk to the beach and other local spots. breakfast was tasty and plenty of options, definitely filled us up for the day.
the mattress in our room was kinda uncomfortable and the shower needed some maintenance. also, there was some noise from the bar downstairs that kept us awake at night.

I just came back from a one-night stay at the Dovey Inn. Right when I arrived, the staff welcomed me warmly. The location is amazing, directly overlooking the sea. My Double Room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space to relax. While the food in the pub was exceptional, I especially loved the fish and chips. the breakfast situation was a bit frustrating. Although I ordered first, it took too long to arrive, making me nearly miss my train. I thought breakfast should have been included given the price of the room. A couple of the small details in the room could use some attention too. The shower pressure was weak, which detracted from an otherwise lovely stay. Despite these hiccups, I would definitely recommend this place for its views and cozy vibe.
